I’ve been invited to speak at the East St. Louis Writers’ Workshop on Feb. 27th at 9:30 a.m. The series is in its thirteenth semester of bringing writers to Southwestern Illinois College’s East St. Louis site to exposes students to excellence in writing in the metro area. The one-hour workshop consists of the writer reading from his/her works, discussing the writing process, and taking questions from the audience. The audience is primarily students, faculty and staff from the site, however it is open to the public. The event will be held in East St. Louis Community College Center, Bldg. A, Rm. 1009.
